Someone needs to schedule a rally for all the people crying and complaining about Kevin Durant going to the Warriors. At this rally make it mandatory that they all hold hands and sing in unison “Kumbaya My Lord” because they’re all in their feelings and it’s pathetic.
Honestly when KD decided to go to the Warriors I thought it was a bad look for the NBA. I won’t argue that parody in the NBA isn’t an issue because it is, but once the acquisition of KD became official it was time for us all to move on.
Fast forward to the NBA Finals and the Warriors are currently up 3-0 over the Cleveland Cavaliers and a flood of tears that really didn’t exist prior to the start of the series is now running rampant throughout the world of social media. On one hand you have people making excuses for Lebron and the Cavs and on the other hand there are people straight bashing KD for joining the “mighty” Warriors.
Maybe I’m in the minority when it comes to this kind of mindset, but I still believe that anything is possible. Not just in basketball, but overall in life. Nothing is easy and you’re guaranteed to face adversity and when you do, how will you deal with it? I don’t know about you, but I’m not running, complaining or making any excuses. In fact I believe that when things seem impossible you should “lace em up” and figure out a way!
All of you who are complaining about KD and making excuses for the Cavs are the lame ones. I would never want you in my corner. I Couldn’t go to war with you or to a lesser degree have you as a member on my community league basketball team. Your thinking is lame, it’s weak and I’m willing to bet you’re not willing to fight for what you want or believe in.
The fact is KD is on the Warriors and it’s up to every other NBA organization to figure out a way to beat them, no excuses! From the owners, general managers and players….step your game up. Improve, work hard or shut up!
